As a mother of an eleven year old daughter, I wanted to create some resources to develop Grace's walk with God and encourage her to spend time reading the Bible. Unfortunately, my daughter has become a reluctant reader and no longer enjoys reading as much as she used to when she was younger.
My challenge was to create resources that were short and concise and more appealing to reluctant readers.
Key Bible verses from the NLT version are used with short reflections on how they relate to life, which make it a more meaningful experience.
I carefully selected Bible verses that demonstrate God's love and grace towards us. By learning about His promises, I'm hoping children develop a deeper relationship with God and are able to trust in Him throughout their life's ups and downs.

Prayer and Gratitude journals teach your child the art of reflection and how to look for the positive things to be thankful for each day and then pray to God about it.
Teaching our children to be grateful for what they have and express their gratitude to God creates happier, more content, and resilient children.
Grateful kids also exhibit a more positive mindset and are better equipped to deal with life's difficulties.
Incorporating Bible verses helps kids develop a deeper understanding of God's word and they can then draw on these words of motivation in times of hardship.

It's essential we help our children prioritize time with God and read his word. But sometimes that can be daunting so, I've created a pretty book that is appealing and easy to read.
It contains some of my favorite verses about how much God loves and cares for us. I intended it to be read by tweens or school-aged children who after reading God's words of comfort, hope and encouragement will ultimately see the beautiful heart of God towards his children.
Simple reflection notes accompany each verse to help relate God's promises to our lives now.
